Astralborn

3,000 unique characters. Each one is generated with its own traits - hair, eyes, outfit, aura - and its own rarity ranking. No two are the same, and ten are one of a kind.

“Awakened” means the character exists to play. Every Astralborn has its portrait, but each also needs a game sprite drawn before it can walk around the world.

Astralborn is an experiment. It is a browser MMO being built in public, one deploy at a time. Things will change, break, and be rebalanced without notice, and what you see today is not a promise of what it will be.

Right now it is an open beta, and nothing here costs money. Three starters - Warrior, Mystic and Ranger - are open to everyone and are not part of the collection. The 300 awakened Astralborn open once you post about the game, and the twenty honorary tributes open when any character you own reaches level 5.

Progress is per character. Your level, gear and quests are saved separately for each one and do not transfer between them.

What is planned. The Astralborn are intended to become ownable as NFTs, and playing as one may eventually require owning it. The three starters stay free. No character is for sale yet, no date is set, and progress made during the beta may not carry over.

ASTRAL is live on Robinhood Chain. The contract address is 0x9D18DA941E737Cebb954cF92805f506b2bE8F705. Check it against this address before you buy anything — that string is the only thing that identifies it, and the name is not.

ASTRAL is not astra. astra is the currency inside the game, earned by playing and spent on gear; it is not on any chain and cannot be bought. ASTRAL is the token. They are one letter apart and they are not the same thing. Holding ASTRAL is not needed to play, and buys nothing in the game today.

There is one token and no NFT. Nothing has been minted, listed or sold on any marketplace, and there is no second token on any other chain. If you find one using this name, it is not ours. Anything official is announced here and from @astralborngame first.
